My name is Danielle Buckmeier. This is my 9th year teaching at IQ Academy! I love teaching in the online environment. Having attended my Graduate Teaching Licensure Program in an online setting as well, I know first hand what it takes to be a successful online learner.
In addition to teaching at IQ, I work within our local middle school to provide enrichment opportunities for our 6-12 grade students.
Prior to teaching, I was the Director of Education in a Christian Education setting. This is were I developed my passion for working with children, and decided to become a teacher. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology, from Concordia College, Moorhead. In December 2015, I received my Masters of Science in Teaching from The College of St. Scholastica. My love for learning is ongoing, which is a trait I hope to install in all of my students.
IMPORTANT LINKS
ZOOM is used for all class connect sessions; 1:1 assessments, small group math and reading, and home work help sessions. *NOTE: The link in your plan on the school homepage is a reminder only! Click on the icon here or in my weekly Digital Classroom to enter our Zoom classroom.
I use Seesaw for a number of things. Students are given a login code from me and can access their student folder. Here, they turn in teacher graded assignments, complete extra credit opportunities as well as view missed class connect recording and submit summaries.
